Singing lessons for beginners-

A Safe Space to Explore Your Voice and Creativity

Singing isn’t just about technique.

It’s a way to express yourself, reconnect with your emotions, let go of stress, and experience the joy of creating and being fully yourself. It can also bring a sense of freedom, confidence, lightness, and well-being — helping you feel more alive,

But for many people, something gets in the way: shyness, lack of confidence, the fear of not being “good enough.”

These singing lessons are here to help you move past those blockagesthat…
and find your voice.

Learn to sing, step by step

We start with solid foundations:

  • breathing and support

  • pitch and ear training

  • vocal placement

  • projection and resonance

  • learning songs you enjoy

Everything is taught progressively, in a clear and accessible way.

Finding your voice

Every voice is different.

The goal isn’t to sound like someone else,
but to discover your voice — your sound, your way of singing.

We work so you can feel:

  • more free

  • more comfortable

  • more confident

A creative approach

With over 20 years of experience as a musician and music teacher, combined with a background in artist coaching, I offer a creative and supportive approach to singing that goes beyond traditional voice lessons.

Through the years, I’ve developed tools inspired by my work and training with Cirque du Soleil coaches, yoga and meditation teachers, as well as the Alexander Technique. I can help you release tension, reconnect with your natural voice, deepen your self-expression, and sing with more freedom, confidence, authenticity, and joy.

If you feel drawn to it, we can include:

  • deeper interpretation

  • emotional expression

  • vocal improvisation

  • songwriting

  • singing while accompanying yourself on piano

Always at your own pace — never forced.

Working through fear and blocks

Many people experience stress when it comes to singing.

We can also work on:

  • stage fright

  • fear of singing in front of others

  • lack of confidence

  • perfectionism

With simple tools to help you feel more grounded and secure.

Who these lessons are for

These lessons are for you if:

  • you want to learn to sing in a supportive environment

  • you’re a beginner or intermediate

  • you want to build confidence

  • you want to explore your voice and creativity

  • you want to sing for fun… or go further

About me

My name is Anic Proulx

I’m a singer and vocal teacher with over 20 years of experience.

I’ve worked with many students at different stages — from beginners to more experienced singers — helping them develop their voice, their confidence, and their musical expression.

I understand the challenges that come with singing, and my goal is to guide you in a way that feels clear, supportive, and adapted to you.

My role is to help you find your voice…
and feel good using it.

You don’t need experience.
You don’t need to be “good.”
You just need the desire to begin.
